The Boulevard des Capucines is one of the four "grands boulevards" in Paris, a chain of boulevards running east-west that also includes Boulevard de la Madeleine, Boulevard des Italiens, and Boulevard Montmartre. A classic street scene in Paris, France with crowds of people and buildings in the city. About the artist: Claude Monet (1840-1926) was a founder of the French impressionist painting movement with most of his paintings being "en plein air" (in the open air) style impressionism landscapes.
