Pierre Renoir was commissioned to make these paintings for a new French museum in the early 1890's and created a series of five paintings of "Young Girls at the Piano" taking great care in their detail. Young Girls at the Piano (1892) is a vintage impressionism fine art musical family portrait painting. Two musician sisters reading sheet music and playing the piano instrument. About the artist: Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) was an artist who was a leading painter in the development of the Impressionist style. Renoir's paintings are notable for their vibrant light and saturated color, most often focusing on people in intimate and candid compositions.
