Palazzo Labia, Venice (1913) by John Singer Sargent is a vintage Victorian Era fine art impressionism architectural painting. Classic Italian architecture with a baroque palace in Italy. The San Geremia is the domed building in the center to the west of the campanile at the convergence of the Cannaregio Canal and Grand Canal. Romantic gondola boats with gondoliers are rowing couples in love in the water. About the artist: John Singer Sargent (1856-1925) was the most successful portrait painter of his era. Sargent is usually not thought of as an Impressionism painter, but he sometimes used impressionistic techniques to great effect with his own version of the impressionist style.
