Cawdor Castle, incorporating a 15th century Tower House, was originally a property of the Calder family, but passed to Clan Campbell in the 16th century and remains a Campbell property. One curious feature of the Castle is that it was built around a small, living Holly tree. The remains of the tree may still be seen in the lowest levels of the Tower. Created from my original paintings, this design features a kilted Highlander and his Scottish Terrier dogs. Each design is available on ALL of the Zazzle products.
