Rossdhu Mansion Scotland Tote Bag
Situated near Loch Lomond, the story of Rossdhu Mansion begins in the 1100s when a substantial square keep was built atop a crannog on Elan Rossdhu, a small island in the nearby bay. In the early 1600s, the Rossdhu Castle is mentioned in a charter as the main dwelling of the Colquhoun barons. The current Rossdhu Mansion featured in our design was built in the early 18th century in the Georgian style. Additions have been made over the years and the house is even said to be haunted by the ghost of its first resident who returns to watch over the home she loved.
