Midwinter Sunset Colors Trees Bare Branches Canada Throw Pillow

Great for napping on the living room couch, fab home decor for bedrooms, living room, sun room, studio, wherever your heart desires. I took this photo about 4:30 pm on a midwinter afternoon near Gatineau (Hull) Quebec, Canada. It captures a fleeting moment of light and color. In winter, it's dark around 5:00 pm. Right now the sun is just dipping below the horizon, giving us a spectacular light show before the dusk deepens into night. Colors include gold, yellow, orange, red-orange and the purple of gathering dusk, fronted by a latticework of bare branches, deciduous trees such as oak, elm and maple. Original photo artwork by M Sylvia Chaume. Happy blessings!
