Favorite Swimming Hole Sun Water Mountain Coaster
A favorite childhood outing - Paint Creek. Shown is a lovely clear, icy cold stream in the Appalachian Mountains in the Paint Creek Recreation Area of Greene County, Tennessee. Your lips turn blue and your teeth chatter if you dare to swim. This original photo features sunlight streaming through the summer green trees and lighting a band across the swimming hole at the base of a cascade waterfall created by gray limestone rocks. Some green reflects in the moving water, while most of the stream almost discloses the brown rocks on the creek bottom. A burgundy vine acts as a groundcover on the right bank. In the lower left, in very discreet, almost not there wording is info on the location.
