"Three Wise Virgins" by Carlos Schwabe, a Swizz German symbolist painter and printmaker. After he moved to Paris, he began moving in the artist symbolist circles. He supported himself as a wallpaper designer. His paintings ♥ mythological and allegorical figures. As an essentially literary artist, he was much in demand as a book illustrator. Schwabe lived in France for the rest of his life and died in Avon, Seine-et-Marne in 1926.
