Almost nothing screams 'old school' like a Skatopia shirt or sticker. Skatopia was located in Buena Park, California. It was a popular skateboarding destination in the 1970s. The highlight of the park was the 175-foot half pipe known as the "Pipeline," one of the first of its kind in a skatepark. In addition to the Pipeline, Skatopia had seven other bowls and runs spread across its two-acre park, catering to both beginners and advanced skateboarders. The park was highly regarded for its large freestyle area and the "Whirlpool," a four-bowl cloverleaf design with varying depths of 6 to 12 feet, featuring two 20-foot bowls and two 10-foot bowls. Skatopia also featured a 230-foot-long snake run, with a gradual slope that increased to an 8 percent grade, combined with sharp, high-banked turns. This run provided exciting action for skateboarders of all levels. Furthermore, there was a smaller snake run specifically designed for beginners. Other attractions at Skatopia included the "Riptide," an 18 by 30-foot swimming pool-style bowl with depths ranging from 4 to 8 feet and up to 3 feet of vertical. The "Escondido Bowl" offered a diverse area with its four-sided bowl and flat 40-degree walls. Finally, a banked slalom run added to the park's variety. Overall, Skatopia in Buena Park, California, provided skateboarders with a range of challenging and thrilling features, making it a popular destination during the 1970s. Now you can have it on a shirt, hat, sticker and more. The shirt has a slightly pre-distressed effect to the print to give it that vintage look and feel. The other products are not distressed.
