Jakob Bogdani Tulips Peonies and other Flowers in a Basket on a Plinth - Created by Jakob Bogdani - Jakob Bogdani (1658 - 1724) was a Hungarian-British artist well known for his still life and exotic bird paintings. He was born in Hungary but moved to London in 1688 and found success as a specialist still life and bird painter at the court of Queen Anne—several of his paintings became part of the Royal Collection.
