Colorful Dreidels: the Jewish Holiday of Hanukkah Mug
- from our Affiliates
Cute and cheerful dreidels with the Hebrew letters nun, gimmel, hey, and shin, for the celebrations of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. Traditionally, during the holiday of Chanukah, children (and often adults) play a safe-hazard game with a dreidel (or sevivon in modern Hebrew). On the four walls there are the Hebrew letters Nun, Gimmel, Hey, and Shin, which stand for the phrase Nes Gadol Haya Sham, or, A great miracle happened there. Together with the menorah (chanukiyah), dreidels are the popular symbols of Hanukkah (Festival of Lights). Great design for a meaningful Chanukah gift!
