I was prompted to design this button after a shooting on my school campus, followed a few weeks later by an armed attack on a nearby business, which was a favorite haunt for students. It made me reflect (angrily) that a certain subset of the population in the USA seems to think that the rights of their AR-15 are far more valuable than the lives of their fellow citizens, hence the message.
