This postcard features the photographic Northern view of the Civil War Memorial in Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia USA, now honoring all soldiers who died during the American Civil War as renamed and rededicated in 2018. Originally dedicated in 1875 as the Confederate Monument. It's statue atop the 48 foot tall structure was also redesigned in 1879 with an anonymous Confederate foot soldier with his back turned away from the North.
