The beautiful trail over a grassy sand dune heading to the beach. Yaquina Bay State Recreation Site is on the North side of Yaquina Bay where it meets the Pacific Ocean. There is a trail through spruce & pine trees in a small forest setting until you reach the sand trails filled with grass & wildlife. The steep sand dunes are definitely worth the hike to get to the beach! Photo taken September 2022.
