A Christmas Carol Dickens Scrooge Christmas Card

The marvelous British illustrator and fantasy artist Arthur Rackham made this illustration for a 1915 edition of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." Here he has captured the bittersweet moment when Scrooge puts aside his "bah humbug" ways and arrives unannounced at his nephew's house for Christmas dinner. (I always cry at this point watching old movies.) This postcard has "A Christmas Carol" on the front, in antiquated type face -- change the words if you like. On the back are my own brief notes on the painting.
