The design is influenced by "Still Life with Pears" a painting created in 1936 by Vaclav Spala (1885 – 1946) who was a Czech painter, graphic designer and illustrator. Early in his career his work was influenced by Fauvism and later by Cubism but starting in 1923 he painted mainly landscapes and still-lives.
