Jakob Bogdany A Dish of Peaches and Plums on a Marble Table with Flowers and a Glass Chalice - Painted by Jakob Bogdani. Jakob Bogdani (1658 - 1724) was a Hungarian-British painter well known for his still life and exotic bird paintings. He was born in Hungary but moved to London in 1688 where he found success as a specialist still life and bird painter at the court of Queen Anne—several of his paintings became part of the Royal Collection.
