“Imperfect Beauty” Acrylic Painting Travel Mug

This painting was finished on 10/15/2023 when the weather was getting colder and reminding me that winter isn’t too far away. I painted this multiple times as I felt like I couldn’t get what I wanted to paint across. There are remnants of imperfections throughout the painting, but in the end, I saw that once I finished it, I could appreciate it for not being perfect. It reminds me of the scars on my body that won’t ever go away and how completely ok that is; it doesn’t take away from my beauty and when I look at this painting, I am grateful in remembering that we are all imperfect beautiful beings.
