If you are lucky enough to be born in a leap year on February 29, leap day, then your birthday comes around only once in 4 years. So how does this aging thing work? Could you have lived 100 years but are only 25 years old? This vintage English sketch of Jack nimbly jumping over the candlestick has a leaping quality to it. Most people want a birthday party every year, regardless of the date. Even so, there is something special about it falling on Feb. 29 every 4 years. In this decade, leap years are 2020, 2024, and 2028. But perhaps your real birthday was a century or two ago. Just saying!
