Perseverance Arrives at Mars Ceramic Ornament

The Mars 2020 Rover, Perseverance, arrived on the planet Mars February 18, 2021, lowered to the surface by the descent stage of the spacecraft. The mission of Perseverance is to rove the surface of Mars at the Jezero Crater, looking for signs of past life and collecting samples for the future Mars Sample Return Mission. The attached Ingenuity helicopter will demonstrate free flight in the Martian atmosphere.
