A composite image of all the Saturn 5 rocket launches including the Apollo Moon landing missions and the Skylab 1 first U.S. space station in orbit. Skylab was the last launch of the massive Saturn V, following the success of Apollo 17 to the Moon. Saturn V was the tallest, heaviest and most powerful launch vehicle and has the amazing success of never losing a crew or payload. It was designed at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Launches took place from 1967 to 1973.
