Mary Queen of Scots Independence Grocery Bag Affiliate icon

This humorous reuseable grocery tote is for supporters of independence for Scotland from the UK Westminster government. The design shows a vintage black and white illustration of Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, from Lodge's portrait of the doomed queen in Sir Walter Scott's book, Tales of a Grandfather, published in Edinburgh in 1869. As everyone knows, Mary fled from Scotland to seek sanctuary in England only to be imprisoned then beheaded by order of Queen Elizabeth I. Above Mary is the word Independence in white lettering. Her yellow speech bubble says Oui! This is a reference to Mary's French upbringing. If Mary were alive today, I've no doubt she would vote Yes to Scottish independence. The background is a tartan plaid pattern in red, blue, green and yellow. The design is inspired by the Scottish independence referendum taking place on 18th September 2014.
