When it comes to tartan and thistle tee shirts, you don’t get more old school than this. The thistle illustration is decorated with a repeat pattern of the classic red, orange and green Regency style man’s twill weave tail coat from the 1820s on show at Glasgow Museum in Scotland. Double breasted, the three quarter length jacket with cutaway tails has matching tartan buttons. The flowing ribbon banner slogan is the Scottish Gaelic slogan, Saor Alba Gu Bragh - Free Scotland Forever. The yellow and black banner has a textured pebbledash effect. The design is inspired by the referendum on Scottish independence on 18th September 2014.
