Annapolis, Maryland Postcard

Located on the Chesapeake Bay, this quaint town is a fun mixture of old and new - historic sites as well as new shops and delicious eateries. Maryland's capitol building dome, completed in 1797, is seen overlooking the city. The lightning rod atop this dome is a "Franklin" rod, constructed and ground to Benjamin Franklin's specifications.
