Interflug was the national airline of the DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik, German Democratic Republic) from 1963 to 1990. From Berlin's Schönefeld Airport, Interflug flew to Eastern Bloc nations as well as Communist countries around the world. Interflug boasted a fleet of Ilyushin Il-18, Tupolev Tu-134, Ilyushin Il-62, Ilyushin Il-18, Ilyushin Il-14, Antonov An-24, Antonov An-2, Airbus A310, and Aero Ae-45. Interflug was liquidated upon German reunification.
