Cancer Bites - Canine Cancer Awareness T-Shirt
Our Designs tell a Story. We created this “Cancer Bites” Paw Illustration in support for our K-9 members of the Family who battle Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer. Lime Green Grungy Ribbon over a Faded Paw Print with “Cancer Bites” text. We created this designs with the purpose of bringing awareness to K-9 Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer. Lymphoma is the most common cancer in dogs and closely resembles Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in people. Although lymphoma is often initially responsive to chemotherapy, long term survival in dogs is rare. There is an initial 80-90% chance of remission, however it is very uncommon for lymphoma to be cured. The cause of lymphoma in dogs is not known. This design was born out of our heartbreaking experience and the tragic loss of our Beloved Puppy “Lucky”. She was only 1 1/2 years of age and Lost Her Fight to Hodgkins Lymphoma after only 9 weeks of her initial diagnosis. While this cancer often affects older pets, when young dogs get diagnosed, the cancer is often more aggressive. Our Mission is to create Awareness through our designs and hope for dogs like Lucky. We are praying for a cure but the sad fact remains that this cancer in dogs is not treated like in people. There is no Cure at this time and less than 1% Survival Chance in Dogs with this Cancer.
