HMS Endymion was a Royal Navy 40-gun fifth-rate frigate that had a distinguished service history during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Launched in 1797, Endymion participated in various significant naval engagements, notably during the Napoleonic Wars. The ship was involved in several notable battles, including the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, where it was part of Admiral Nelson's fleet.
