Vintage Bald Eagle on American Flag 4 July Classic Round Sticker Affiliate icon

Also called the White-headed Eagle, the American Sea Eagle, the Bird of Washington, the Washington Eagle, and the Sea Eagle the name Bald Eagle has been applied to him more generally than any other on account of the snowy white of his head and neck. The Bald Eagle's ideal habitats are large expanses of water, suitable for catching fish, with nearby tall old trees for nesting. Lifespans are long, usually 30 years, and longer in captivity. The Bald Eagle was once a threatened species and only as recently as 2007 has it been removed from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife species. The eagle shown is from a vintage photograph that dates from 1897. He has a brown body with a white head, eyes with bright yellow ring, golden taloned feet and hooked beak. The Eagle stands on the stripes of an American flag draped downwards, his head and upper body against the white stars on the blue background of the flag. This item is easy to customize and personalize and is appropriate as a patriotic American gift, whether 4th of July or any other occasion throughout the year.
