The Copper Banded Butterfly fish uses it's long, narrow nose and mouth for hunting for food in tight places. This species is native to both Atlantic and Pacific and is usually found in shallow waters, on coral reefs and shorelines that are rocky. With it's yellow-orange stripes on a white background it is a very colorful fish, not easily mistaken for any other. It is not a large fish growing only to a maximum of 8 inches.
