Riding "pegs down" is a way of showing respect to, or honoring, a rider who is no longer with us. When you take that ride, you place your passenger foot pegs in the "down"position, as if that person were riding with you. Honor the memory of a fallen rider, or one who has passed on. Edit the text field, to show the name of your choice. I used my late brother's name as an example, since he was my primary influence to the world of motorcycles.
