This image of The Pillars of Creation from the Near-Infrared Instrument (NIRCam) of the JWST (James Webb Space Telescope) shows newly formed stars sparkling among the huge floating columns of gas and dust. There's a lot of tiny blue, yellow and red dots everywhere in and around the pillars, each dot is a single star. The Pillars of Creation are between 6500-7000 light-years away from Earth.
