Silk Tree Kitchen Towel

I took this photo in late spring of 1994 at Spreading Elm Farm near Mt Olivet, KY. The Silk tree (Albizia julibrissin) sat between the 1940s cistern and an old meat house. Nearby was the early 1900s two story, white frame, farm house. This bucolic, rural America setting was in a small valley bordered by two streams. Sadly, none of these remain after a new road ran through the property to straighten a straight road.
