Looking through one of the large brick, exterior, mortared windows of the Savannah Georgia Railroad Museum to the towering, antebellum smoke stack, water tank, and privies combo built ~1855. A very unique and currently standing historical building in Savannah Georgia. It is inside the state railroad museum in downtown Savannah Georgia. The center smoke stack is made of Savannah red brick and stands about 125 feet tall. The 40,000 gallon, cast iron water tank surrounds it and was made from the Savannah foundry, while the exterior buildings were made into privies for the railroad customers and employees.
