This design features the Hay clan's Delgatie Castle, located in Aberdeenshire. The photo is surrounded by a holiday frame that has the appearance of hammered metal, pained with holly leaves and red berries. The Hay clan's roots came into Scotland by way of the Norman Invasion in 1066. Delgatie and New Slains are two of the ancient castles associated with the Hay Clan. Delgatie Castle, a 12th-century tower house, is currently used as the Clan Hay Center. New Slains Castle was the clan seat for generations. The back features a brief history of the clan backed by the blue and green "Hunting Tartan" under Crown Copyright and used courtesy of the Scottish Register of Tartans.
