A removable car magnet bringing attention that a basic income guarantee for every american would cost billions of dollars less each year than what we spend just fighting child poverty alone. This is also before factoring in the countless savings from the bountiful benefits this offers, like reductions in crime rates, murders, accidental deaths, hospitalizations, car accidents, etc. Or the increase in quality of life and life expectancy. Also, believe it or not, reduced unemployment rates, and likely, government dependency. Data from CRT's seems to show that when people are given the opportunity and stability to go out and find a career they actually enjoy, THEY KEEP IT! Bizarre concept, right? However, I'm sure most of the recent results from areas testing this around the nation will bring focus to increased unemployment rates, or time off, while failing to mention that they are typically only seen in students, who should be focusing on their studies in the first place, and new mothers/parents, who should not have to immediately return to work after creating a miniature human being. This is the way y'all.
