Inspired by the old wool squares, knitted and crocheted in love and neccessity by Grandmothers, Grandma's, Nanna's and Nonna's the world over. The patterns are created to replicate the plain and flowered handmade squares which formed the basis for bed blankets. Lvingly crafted, these blankets were made of wool scraps in different colors of the rainbow. This particular piece of art has been created digitally in pretty pastel colors of mint green, pink, blue, yellow and shades of purple and mauve. A pretty pattern for feminine women and girly girls.
