Flight of the Bumblebee by Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov Photo Print
The flight of the bumblebee is an extremely famous and recognizable musical piece by Russian composer Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov. The piece is an interlude in one of the great composer's opera, but it is usually played alone, and few people even know it is a part of a larger piece. This fast-paced, dynamic work is beautiful and technically challenging. It has been transcribed and played on various instruments, and will continue to inspire many musicians for many centuries to come. I had created multiple designs featuring composers like Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, and Liszt. I decided, as I did in Liszt's La Campanella, to focus on a specific work, and not the composer himself. The digital illustration I came up with features Rimsky-Korsakov riding a massive bumblebee across the skies. He is the epitome of cool, with his signature haircut and beard, and a couple of neon sunglasses with a slight steampunk look. The flight of the bumblebee is a fun design, an homage to a great composer. It looks great on a wide variety of products, from t-shirts to posters and phone cases. It will make an amazing gift for classical musical lovers, and musicians in general. As I mentioned before, I have many musical designs available on my store.
