His radio broadcast became so famous that his quote has been used numerous times, until it has become a sarcastic outcry when we so much as break a nail or feel slighted by an acquaintance. Being a native Floridian, the quote and the massive sea cow capture the Florida sense of humor. Yes, we celebrate through hurricanes, we don't take ourselves too seriously, and we bounce back when disaster strikes.
