It seems to me most strange that men should fear, seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come.”" These wise words of courage have been spoken to many soldiers, teams, and adventurers. You will never win at anything, if you never try in the first place. Although the meaning isn't the same, it reminds me of what Jesus tells us when he says, "Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life." We can't value our lives so much that we fail to do what is right. Sure, use common sense, but there is so much more to be gained when we choose to be brave and courageous in doing good, rather than cowardly, fearful, and self-serving. Let this quote be encouragement for you or someone you care about.
