A primitive, or folk-art-style, image of a Steller's Jay (Cyanocitta stelleri) on the reddish inner or reverse side of the bark of a paper birch (Betula payrifera). Add your own text. One of my favorite birds, it is found is found in much of western North America; from California, throughout the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia to Alaska. I refer to these birds as screeches, because that is what they do.
