Three chasing rabbits share three ears in this ancient design, found throughout Europe and the Middle East in traditional decorations. My version is in blue and white with a dark blue border. The traditional folk verse reads, "Rabbits three and ears as few / Yet each rabbit has its two." The intricate corner decorations feature birds and floral motifs inspired by old chinoiserie, Dedham & Delft pottery. Cute, whimsical and unique! The original artwork was done on ceramic tile using fired glazes and underglazes, giving the artwork a soft look. Great for any bunny rabbit lover and for blue and white decor.
