“Mirror Oba” was originally created in a digital format. In the Benin Kingdom of Nigeria (Sub-Suharan Africa) the “Oba” has the ultimate authority and is chosen as the ruler based on a hereditary succession. I had watched several videos about the Benin Kingdom, spiritual practice, rituals, history, dance and more. One day when I finished showering, I saw some strange writings on the mirror. Naturally, I took a closer look and I could see a mask with an elongated face, so I immediately thought about the Oba’s I had learned about and their regal attire; this image came to me based on the one I saw on the mirror.
