The Pleaides (M45), also known as The Seven Sisters, is an open star cluster of Blue Giant Class B stars. They are roughly 380 - 460 Light years from Earth. The nebulous dust cloud in front of them is not part of Pleaides, but is traveling through the cluster at approximately 25,000 mph. This artist took this image using his own equipment and in true-color.
