Vintage Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Dormouse Ceramic Tile

This vintage tile for fans of the 1865 children's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll features the famous John Tenniel illustration of the Mad Hatter sitting down to tea with the sleepy little dormouse by his side. The hatter wears a top hat, high necked shirt and big bow tie with polka dot pattern. On the tea party table are two cups and saucers and an empty plate. I've added a dash of color to the scene which was originally drawn in black and white.
