The Holy Spirit, also known as the Holy Ghost, is an aspect or agent of God, by means of which God communicates with people or acts on them. In Judaism, it refers to the divine force, quality, and influence of God over the universe or over his creatures. In Nicene Christianity, the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. In Islam, the Holy Spirit acts as an agent of divine action or communication.
