"Fatata te Miti" (By the Sea) painted by Paul Gauguin in 1892 during his time in Tahiti, depicts two Tahitian women by the sea. It embodies Gauguin's fascination with Tahitian culture. Housed in the Art Institute of Chicago, it's considered a masterpiece of Gauguin's work.
