This is a reproduction of the painting "Oberon & Titania," made by the Victorian artist Richard Dadd, a gifted artist. His paintings of fairies are rich and complex. Unfortunately for Dadd, he went mad when he was 27 years old and killed his father. He spent the rest of his life in an Institution, where he was urged to paint. This painting was completed at that time. Richard Dadd was obsessively meticulous about the details of his paintings. "Oberon & Titania" took Dadd 4 years to create and was made between 1854 and 1858. This image has been professionally restored by us. It has been retouched where scratched and colors have been enhanced. "Oberon & Titania" is available as a poster or a canvas print. A variety of framing options are available.
