The LGBT family of the past has now grown to include: "Q," genderqueer persons who do not subscribe to conventional gender distinctions (and also "questioning" persons); "I," Intersex persons whose anatomy is not exclusively male or female; and “A," allies (friends of the cause) and also asexual persons characterized by the absence of venereal attraction. Altogether, we form a significant part of the world's population which has always been here and has always contributed. Be proud of who you are and show your solidarity in the recognition that LGBTQIA rights are human rights, and that defending the rights, health, and well-being of the most marginalized among us is defending all of us.
